Computer vision
Detection and classification of people and objects on existing IP cameras. Counting by zone, occupancy, queue management and shelf availability control, without biometric identification.
Odiseasoft · Software and data since 2007
We develop computer vision, tracking, IoT and data analysis systems for retail, industry and institutions. On the infrastructure already in place, with models trained on each organisation own data, and processing where the data is produced.
02 / Services
Every deployment is built on existing infrastructure. The capabilities operate independently or integrated into a single data chain.
Detection and classification of people and objects on existing IP cameras. Counting by zone, occupancy, queue management and shelf availability control, without biometric identification.
Reconstruction of movement within the premises: entry points, dwell zones and areas without circulation. Trajectories are recorded anonymously.
Complementary instrumentation where vision does not reach: temperature, energy consumption, presence and machine state, on the same timeline as every other event.
Data engineering, big data and operational dashboards. Cross-referencing with point of sale, shift and calendar, with alerts and automated reporting oriented to decision-making.
03 / Methodology
Four stages and one operating principle: processing runs at the point of capture, and video is not stored.
01 · Capture
Integration with existing IP cameras and sensors. Processing runs on site, with no video transported across the network.
02 · Detection
Vision and time-series models tuned to the operation. The event is recorded; the image is discarded.
03 · Correlation
Events are normalised and cross-referenced with point of sale, shift and calendar to build the operational model.
04 · Decision
Dashboards by role, alerts and reports. Information reaches the person with authority to act on it.
04 / Sectors
Three distinct operating contexts with a single requirement: verifiable information about what happens in physical space.
Retail
Measurement of footfall, circulation and availability at every point of sale.
Industry
Process, safety and energy consumption on a single timeline.
Institutions
Occupancy, access control and management reporting for public bodies and entities.
05 / Products
Systems in operation that form the technical foundation of custom development.
06 / Frequently asked
The questions that come up in every first technical meeting, answered directly.
Odiseasoft is a software development and data analysis company founded in 2007 in Buenos Aires and based in Mar Chiquita, Argentina. It builds computer vision, tracking, IoT and analytics systems for retail, industry and institutions.
Yes. The system integrates with any IP camera exposing RTSP or ONVIF, with no need to replace the installed fleet. New equipment is added only where coverage is insufficient.
No. Analysis runs at the point of capture on an edge device, and the event is recorded rather than the image. No biometric identification or facial recognition is applied, and trajectories are stored anonymously.
The deployment supports three arrangements: on-premise on a dedicated server inside the client network, in a cloud hosted and monitored by Odiseasoft, or hybrid with edge analysis and cloud history. Information is not transferred to third parties.
Retail and store chains, industry and production, and institutions and services, including cooperatives and public bodies.
With a bounded initial scope: one zone, one defined indicator and a two-week timeframe. Expansion is decided on measured results.
